The installation of Cyrix Media Drivers

"Cyrix Media Drivers" is the driver for the Video and Audio functions of the Cyrix CPU. After installed the Win98 properly, you must execute this "Cyrix Media Drivers" with the following steps.

1. Click "Cyrix driver" from the "Driver cd-rom", then select "Cyrix MediaGX Win9x drivers 3.85". You will see the "Cyrix MediaGX Certified Win9x the information", choose "Finish", then select "Next".

2. After "Next" button--please read Cyrix software License Agreement then choose "YES" button.

3. After the "YES" button, choose "Next" for the Destination Location.

4. Then choose the "Custom type" and "Next" again. Please select all components
except "UDMA Drivers " , and choose "Next "

5. Take out the Drivers CD-ROM & insert the Win98 CD-ROM.

6. If the setup can not find the proper drivers for Audio & Video, Please set the "Copy files from" as "C:\progra~1\cyrix~1", then "enter". Keep point the "Copy files from" as "C:\progra~1\cyrix~1" when system required.

7. when all of the set up is ok please choose "finish" button and then the computer will reboot with new configuration.

After the restart of the computer, go to "Control Panel"-"Monitor"-select "Setting", choose "16bit" for color & "640*480" for resolution. Then press "save" and reboot the computer.
